I love this pattern but it definitely took me out of my comfort zone. I taught myself how to crochet a year and a half ago and I have done fairly simple projects. When I got to the Celtic weave, I watch the video and replayed a 15 second section over and over again to no avail. I put this project away and went to bed only to wake up and watch the video again and I got it! (It was me making it harder than it is). Anyway, I am so happy how the golf cover turned out. I wish the pattern had instructions on how to make the Pom Pom but I was able to search for a free pattern and found one.

Pattern was easy to follow and my husband loves the club head cover!

Nice pattern, fits well. It did take me a while to figure out the Celtic weave. Once I wrapped my head around what was going on, it was super easy. My biggest problem was trying to figure out what colors to use! I started with four rows fewer in the neck than the pattern to fit a wood instead of a driver. It works, but it’s a little loose. If I did it again, I would try starting with eight fewer rows. I love how easy it is to slide on and off. I find covers mostly annoying, so I don’t use them as much as I should. That’s not a problem with this one. I’m planning to make more for my other clubs.
